Brian Cowardin, President, Chief Executive Officer and Master Jeweler
Graduated from Henrico High School and went straight to trade school before joining the business in 1975. Besides running the business, he is also a skilled bench jeweler, watchmaker and an expert stone setter. Brian serves on the Boards of the Retail Merchants Association and Peoples Bank of Virginia.
Clint Cowardin, Vice President, Chief Finacial Officer
Joined Cowardin's in 1991 after retiring from the US Army as a Lt. Colonel in the finance department. Clint received a BA degree from the Virginia Military Institute in 1970 and later received a Master's degree in public administration from the Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California. Clint is the chief finacial officer for Cowardin's.
Taylor Cowardin, G.G., C.G.A., Secretary
Joined Cowardin's full time in 2003 after graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BS in Business Administration. In 2007 he received the Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America, and in 2009 achieved the Certified Gemologist title designation from the American Gem Society. Taylor is President of the Virginia Jewelers Association and holds offices in various local charities and organizations including the Sons of the American Revolution and VCU Rams Athletic Fund. Taylor performs the store's appraisals and mangages the store's sales staff.
